Overview
Global Software House is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience. The role involves working within the software development life cycle, breaking down requirements into functional specifications, and ensuring technology solutions meet business needs. The position requires 2 days in the office each week and is based in the East Midlands.
Responsibilities
- Develop epics and user stories.
- Create acceptance criteria using Gherkin.
- Model processes (As-Is, To-Be).
- Design UI/UX wireframes.
- Prioritise requirements using MoSCoW.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies.
- Provide estimation for development work.
- Build relationships between business functions and technology teams.
- Deliver activities from inception through specification, user‑acceptance testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers and the wider development team.
Qualifications
- Recognised business analysis qualifications such as SSADM, ISEB, or BCS.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
