An exceptional opportunity to make a massive impact is available for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join a high-performance engineering organisation based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. This is a genuinely autonomous role where you'll be the sole cyber security specialist within a collaborative engineering team. You'll have the freedom to shape the cyber security function whilst working on a 50/50 split of project work and operational support.

The role:
As the Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cyber security measures across the organisation's infrastructure. This includes project work on new security initiatives alongside day-to-day support and incident response. You'll be expected to work collaboratively with other engineers in the team, providing support when required, whilst also taking the lead on all cyber security matters. Regular engagement with senior stakeholders and attendance at strategic meetings will be a key part of the position, so strong communication skills are essential.
