Description: Automated Software Tester – up to £45k + 3 days remote. Our client has a fantastic reputation and leads within their field, offering opportunities for career progression and growth. For experience in solid software testing with automation skills, our client is willing to pay up to £45k and provides a great package to complement it, including 3 days remote per week. You’ll help our client install best practices and testing procedures. They are becoming more digital with their product line and continue a dedication to test automation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks from scratch.
  • Create test documents and frameworks, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Perform desktop and web-based testing and gain further training in cloud/AWS.
  • Participate in STLC/SDLC and collaborate with development and product teams.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of commercial software testing experience, including automated testing tools.
  • Experience building automated frameworks from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and scripting in C#.
  • Familiarity with best practices and the ability to implement them.
  • Additional testing qualifications such as ISTQB, ISEB or BSC are highly desirable.

Ideal experience to have is 3+ years in commercial software testing with automation tools and a passion for testing best practices. This role is based near Derby and Nottingham and is easily commutable from the surrounding East Midlands and West Midlands area. Candidates of all ages and backgrounds will be considered for this role.
