A thriving software provider with excellent staff retention urgently requires an experienced C# MVC Developer to work with the latest technologies on Cloud Development and Enterprise solutions. The organization is privately owned and seeks a developer to work on an exciting range of new products, bringing their market presence to new heights. This is an opportunity for an excellent software engineer specializing in web .NET solutions to join a newly formed team and develop unique systems through the full life‑cycle development process.
#### Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, VB.NET, and the Microsoft Stack.
- Apply Test‑Driven Development, using Moq, MSTest or NUnit, to ensure code quality.
- Use design patterns and object‑oriented design principles to support maintainable architecture.
- Develop client‑side features with JavaScript and frameworks such as Angular.
- Work with SQL Server for data persistence and retrieval.
- Participate in Agile development teams, contributing to iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
The role is based in the North Nottinghamshire area and offers autonomy, a supportive team, and opportunities for career progression. It is commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Chesterfield, and most places in the North East Midlands. The company provides a modern office facility accessible via public transport.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience in C# 3.5 – 4.5 and ASP.NET MVC.
- Proficiency in TDD and unit testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of design patterns and object‑oriented design.
- Experience with JavaScript and Angular.
- Knowledge of SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
