Job Description
Senior Application Support Engineer with a focus on SQL Server and T‑SQL within an ERP environment. The role requires support across 1st‑3rd line issues, software implementation, and client interaction. Works predominantly in the Leicestershire office and is hybrid after initial training.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st‑3rd line application software support and service desk resolution.
- Log calls, diagnose and resolve support incidents, and write SQL scripts to interrogate databases.
- Assist with remote and onsite software implementation and upgrades.
- Work within an enterprise, CRM or financial software environment.
- Collaborate with team, provide training, and maintain documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in application software support or customer support.
- Experience with call logging and managing 1st‑3rd line incidents.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T‑SQL, and scripting.
- Understanding of programming concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass security clearance.
