This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Application Support Analyst or Engineer ideally at 2nd line level to join a progressive specialist software house’s growing Support Team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that as much resolution happens as possible within the service desk at the 1st and 2nd line level. Full product training will be provided as well as ongoing opportunities to progress your career further.
Qualifications & Experience
- 12+ months commercial experience in supporting specialist applications & software.
- Experience in a similar position, customer service, problem solving and accountability.
- High availability support (24/7) with SQL knowledge.
- Experience with clustered environments and SAN (storage area networks).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Technical Skills
- Software and applications for external customers.
- SQL knowledge and experience.

Desirables
- Azure, Oracle, firewalls, patching, VPN, networking, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal with external customers for the client’s industry‑leading software and applications at the 2nd line support level.
- Provide 2nd line support, troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
- Maintain documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with 1st line staff to resolve incidents.
