Description
This East Midlands based specialist Software House is seeking a User Experience Designer with strong HTML5 & CSS coding experience to join a small, growing design/development team. You will work in an agile environment on both web and mobile projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating attractive user interfaces and visuals for our client’s product range
- Coding in HTML5 & CSS3
- Developing profiling, personas, requirements gathering, user journeys and flows, site maps, wireframes and mock‑ups
- Collaborating with development teams to maintain design governance (JavaScript knowledge is a bonus)
- Preparing and conducting workshops and presenting results to stakeholders
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of commercial experience in UI/UX design • Relevant degree or equivalent • A portfolio demonstrating the ability to design and present app and software solutions from early sketches through to high‑definition mock‑ups, and an understanding of HTML/CSS development
