Our client is a profitable and rapidly expanding Software House. They are looking for a 1st/2nd Line Software Support Engineer to join their busy Accountancy Software Support team. Full training of the clientβs software will be provided. Hours are 8.45-5, Monday β Friday (no shift work).
Responsibilities and Qualifications
The skills needed for this role are:
- Previous experience of working in a software support / Customer Support role
- Experience of call logging and dealing with 1st / 2nd Line Software Support issues
- Experience of working within a similar environment such as Financial / Accounting software. If you havenβt supported this software but have been a user of accountancy software and understand General Ledger
- An understanding of databases (preferably SQL Server)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
