Dental Beauty Partners are currently seeking a Dental Receptionist to join us at our lovely mixed practice, Dental Beauty Clapham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and family‑orientated practice team in the Clapham area. You will be joining a fantastic group of clinicians and wider support staff, led by our Partner Dr. Kunal Patel, who all work together in harmony to deliver a brilliant patient journey. The practice is very accessible via public transport as it is within walking distance of Clapham Common station.
The working hours for this role are as follows:
- Monday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Tuesday: 8am to 2pm
- Wednesday: 2pm to 8pm
- Thursday: 8:30am to 6pm
- Friday: 8am to 5pm
- 1x Saturday per month: 8:30am to 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a high‑quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction & maximum contribution to practice efficiency
- Answering the telephone and dealing with patient enquiries in a positive, efficient and friendly manner, with a focus on going the extra mile
- Schedule patient appointments in accordance & effectively managing the diaries of our clinical team; all through our software system, Dentally
- Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy
- To ensure compliance with DBP Information Governance Policy and GDPR
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Ideally 1‑2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist, within a private or mixed practice
- If no Dentistry experience, then a background within a front of house, customer service or medical coordinator role
- Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
- Ensuring CQC requirements are met at all times
- Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
