Qualified Dental Nurse to join us at our lovely mixed practice, Dental Beauty Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and family‑orientated practice team, and work in a dual nursing & reception capacity.
You will be joining a fantastic team of clinicians and support staff, led by our Partner Dr. Nik Sethi, who all work together in harmony to deliver a brilliant patient journey. The practice is very accessible via public transport, close to ... and with parking nearby.
The working hours for this position are: Monday-Friday 8.30AM-5.30PM
Key Responsibilities- Perform high quality dental nursing support in assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures in a safe and effective manner
- Providing receptionist support to ensure our patients have an excellent experience
- Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC & Undertaking CPD in line with these guidelines
- Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties as and when required
- To act as an ambassador for DBP company Vision, Ethos and Values; maintaining productive working relationships with all members of the dental team
- We are ideally looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse, but may also consider a Dental Nurse near to the end of their training course
- Experience with receptionist duties is also desirable, but training can be provided if not
- GDC Registration, or close to obtaining is ideally required for this position
- Experience supporting a variety of general, cosmetic & restorative dental treatment is highly desirable
- Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
- Ensuring CQC requirements are met at all times
- Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
- Highly competitive hourly rate of £13-£14 is on offer, varying depending on experience & qualifications
- GDC, Indemnity and CPD costs covered - equivalent to circa £500 per year
