What You Will Do
- Collect, wash, and/or distribute clean linens and apparel for assigned clinical areas.
- Collect and sort soiled linens and apparel for assigned areas.
- Stock and distribute clean linens and apparel, adhering to infection control guidelines.
- Perform daily inventory to ensure clean linens and apparel are accurately stocked and distributed.
- Identify items for repair or replacement and notify management.
- Wash, dry, and/or fold laundered linens and apparel, identifying items for repair or replacement and notifying management.
- Operate all laundry equipment according to operating instructions and departmental policies.
- Maintain work area and equipment in clean, working condition.
