We are recruiting experienced Electrical Improver or Electrical Assembly Operatives to support a major manufacturing project in Huthwaite. You will be working on a busy production line assembling switchgear panels, carrying out wiring tasks, and ensuring high-quality standards throughout. Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of switchgear panels
- Electrical wiring
- CT wiring
- Terminating multicores and single cores
- Working on gear plates
- Possible copper work depending on experience
- Working from drawings and following production processes
Working Hours
- Standard Week – 37.5 hours
- Mon–Thurs: Day shift
- Friday: 7:30am – 11:45am
Factory Opening Hours (Overtime Available)
- Mon–Thurs: 6:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 11:45am
- Saturday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
Night shifts may be available later, subject to performance.
What You Need
- ECS Card (NOT essential)
- Proven experience in electrical assembly or panel building
- Strong Electrical and CT wiring skills
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Additional certificates (e.g., Manual Handling, online H&S courses) are beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
