Ascension Island Government (AIG) is seeking a Coxswain/Marine Mechanic to perform Coxswain duties and undertake maintenance and repairs to all marine engines and outboard motors, including Sea Rescue craft engines for AIG and its service users.
The role involves operating pontoon, passenger launches, cranes and other plant, carrying out engine surveys, and working a 12-hour shift with weekend rotations, often outdoors and at sea.
