We are looking for an experienced Application Production Support Engineer to support business-critical applications in a production environment. Full-time with Ascendion 3 Days WFO - Chester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications
- Monitor applications, identify issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Support incident, problem, and release management in line with ITIL processes
- Troubleshoot application issues across middleware, databases, and operating systems
- Support technical implementations and production releases
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Production Support / Application Support / IT Operations
- Strong understanding of Java/J2EE technologies: Core Java, JDBC, EJB, Java Web Services
- Experience with server-side technologies: SOAP/REST services, XML/XSLT, JDBC, AOP, MQ, Microservices, MuleSoft
- Strong Unix and Windows OS knowledge with scripting experience
