As a Manager – Service Design, you will oversee and drive service design strategy across multiple business domains while managing a team of designers. You will ensure that discovery activities, insights, and service frameworks are executed with rigor and translated into clear opportunities that shape enterprise-level transformation. This role blends strategic oversight, people management, and hands-on service design leadership.

  • Manage & Oversee Discovery Workstreams
    • Own and manage discovery programs across multiple business units (Operations, Customer Service, Finance, etc.).
    • Lead the planning and facilitation of stakeholder sessions, interviews, and cross-functional workshops.
    • Supervise and mentor Senior/Lead Service Designers in workflow mapping, system dependency analysis, and user research.
    • Ensure discovery outputs meet quality standards, follow structured methods, and produce actionable outcomes.
  • Drive Insight Generation & Strategic Synthesis
    • Review and analyze data, interviews, research artifacts, and service maps to identify operational, behavioral, and systemic patterns.
    • Oversee creation of service blueprints, ecosystem maps, and journey frameworks that highlight friction points and opportunities.
    • Translate insights into domain-level themes that connect user experience, processes, and technology.
    • Shape transformation opportunities by aligning insights with enterprise priorities.
  • Managerial & Strategic Expectations
    • Provide thought leadership on service design methodologies and best practices.
    • Manage workload, project timelines, and resource allocation across the team.
    • Partner closely with program leadership to ensure alignment with broader transformation goals.
    • Communicate insights, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
