Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Tester to lead quality assurance activities across software development projects. The role involves designing test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Define, plan, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for applications and systems.

Perform manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, and performance areas.

*

Lead and mentor junior QA team members, ensuring adherence to QA standards and best practices.

*

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to validate requirements and ensure test coverage.

*

Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools (JIRA, HP ALM, etc.).

*

Ensure quality standards are met throughout the SDLC (Agile/Waterfall).

*

Contribute to test automation frameworks and support continuous integration (CI/CD) practices.

*

Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

*

5–8+ years of QA/testing experience in software development environments.

*

Strong expertise in manual testing, test case design, and defect management.

*

Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, etc.).

*

Solid knowledge of SQL, API testing (Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured).

*

Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

*

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker).

*

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

*

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred:

*

Experience in banking, payments, or financial services domain.

*

Exposure to cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).

*

Knowledge of security and compliance testing standards
