We are looking to hire a Lead MongoDB Engineer with strong expertise in MongoDB administration, architecture, and performance tuning. This role requires a professional who can design, implement, and optimize MongoDB solutions while ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Architecture & Administration: Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure MongoDB databases.
- Performance Optimization: Develop indexing, replication, and sharding strategies to enhance database performance.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of database engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
- Cloud Integration: Deploy and manage MongoDB solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MongoDB Atlas.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring tools to track database health, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and ensure high availability.
- Security & Compliance: Establish and enforce database security policies, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to align database strategies with organizational goals.
- Automation & CI/CD: Implement automation for database provisioning, scaling, and management.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Develop comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures for MongoDB usage.
