We are seeking a Payment Solution Architect with deep experience in banking and payments to own architecture decisions for a suite of payment applications. The role focuses on defining end-to-end solution designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, and guiding delivery teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive architecture design and decisions across multiple payment applications.
- Define solution vision, system interactions, interfaces, and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead architecture trade-off decisions covering scalability, security, resilience, and availability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to technology leadership, product owners, and delivery teams.
- Drive adoption of architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps.
- Mentor junior architects and collaborate with global delivery teams.
Required Experience & Skills
- 20+ years in IT with 10+ years in Solution Architecture.
- 5+ years in Banking / Financial Services, preferably Payments.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, Kafka, and distributed systems.
- Proven experience designing high-throughput, low-latency applications.
- Strong background in architecture governance, design reviews, and decision documentation.
- Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
