Full-time role with Ascendion 3 days onsite - Chester
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure container platforms using OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Implement and manage service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio, Linkerd, or similar)
- Support release engineering and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and services using Node.js
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and platform reliability
- Apply application construct experience, including performance optimization and implementation of security best practices (e.g., secure coding, threat mitigation, and system hardening)
