We are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to join a Markets Technology team building real-time, event-driven applications within a regulated banking environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering and application development background, with hands-on experience building production systems in Scala.
Key Requirements
- Strong Scala development experience
- Senior-level experience with the ability to take ownership of delivery
- Proven experience building and supporting production-grade applications
- Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing and deployment
- Experience developing real-time, event-driven applications
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of the software development process
- Financial services experience strongly preferred
