Location: UK (Hybrid – 1-day London, 2 days Bromley; more focus on Bromley)
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in banking or financial services, working closely with technology delivery teams. The Scrum Master will play a key role in enabling Agile delivery, improving team performance, and ensuring best-practice Agile/Scrum frameworks are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Scrum Master for one or more technology squads within a banking/financial services environment
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum best practices
- Remove impediments and manage dependencies to ensure smooth delivery
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and wider technology stakeholders
- Track and report delivery metrics (velocity, burn-down, risks, dependencies)
- Promote continuous improvement and a strong Agile culture
- Support regulatory-driven and enterprise-scale delivery environments
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–10 years’ experience as a Scrum Master
- Proven experience in banking or financial services (mandatory)
- Strong experience working with technology / engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in large, complex, regulated organisations
