Application Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with 5+ years in Production Support Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java/J2EE (Core Java, JDBC, EJB, Web Services), server-side technologies (SOAP/REST, XML, MQ, Microservices, MuleSoft), and middleware components (Message Broker, IBM Websphere MQ, JBoss, MuleSoft).

**Onsite role in Chester, UK**

Key Skills:

• Experience with Unix/Windows OS and strong scripting abilities
• Database experience (Oracle, DB2, PL/SQL)
• Handling production support roles (L1/L2/L3)
• Familiarity with event-driven and schedule-driven processes
• Proficiency in monitoring/scheduling tools
• Java proficiency

The role requires excellent communication, flexibility, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in technical environments.
