Part-Time Accounts Administrator
£28,500.00 per annum (pro rata)
30 hours per week – ideally across 5 days

Our client - a manufacturer of high-performance materials used in electronics assembly and advanced technology markets worldwide, is looking for a Part-Time Accounts Administrator. With a strong global presence and a collaborative team environment, they are committed to innovation, quality, and excellence.
Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in their accounts payable function while supporting administrative needs across departments. This is a varied role perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking and thrives in a structured, team-oriented setting.
Your responsibilities as a Part-Time Accounts Administrator will include:
- Front-of-house reception duties: phone and door handling
- Processing invoices and vouchers accurately
- Maintaining accounts payable records and expense reports (Concur/manual)
- General ledger posting and filing
- Preparing payment run reports and managing purchase order requisitions
- Managing office supplies and assisting with freight invoice reconciliation
- Vendor statement checks and reconciliations
- Postponed VAT accounting and petty cash management
- Supporting HR with internal communications
- Generating routine reports (KPIs and other financial summaries)
- Assisting with credit applications, vendor research, and travel arrangements
- Helping coordinate trade shows and managing marketing material distribution
- Cross-training in AR functions and providing general administrative support
To be a successful Part-Time Accounts Administrator, you must have:
- Accounts payable experience (essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly accurate with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
- Flexible, professional, and team-oriented approach
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
