We are looking for a proactive and organised Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis. You will help ensure smooth day-to-day transport operations, track shipments, manage documentation, and support the wider team. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in logistics and operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor deliveries using our tracking system, flag any issues early, and communicate updates to the team and customers.
- Documentation Compliance: Prepare and check trip documents such as packing lists, CMR, and customs paperwork to ensure compliance.
- Team Support: Assist the team with daily operational tasks, provide cover during absences, and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
- Communication: Notify relevant teams of deviations or delays, and escalate any issues with carriers as needed.
- Systems Performance: Update transport systems accurately, support KPI tracking, and help improve operational processes.
Outcome: Ensure shipments are tracked, paperwork is complete, and the team delivers reliable, high-quality service.
Experience & Skills Required:
