Logistics Co-Ordinator in Milton Keynes

Full Time, Fully Office Based

Salary: £30,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end international shipments (road, sea, air)
  • Prepare commercial invoices, export declarations, and customs documentation
  • Apply and manage Incoterms (EXW, FCA, Freight Prepaid/Collect)
  • Calculate customs duties, VAT, and related charges
  • Manage UK EU shipments under post-Brexit regulations
  • Liaise with and negotiate rates with freight forwarders (e.g. DHL, UPS)
  • Handle Certificates of Origin via Chambers of Commerce portals
  • Coordinate dangerous goods shipments (IATA, IMDG, ADR)
  • Manage returns and re-import documentation
  • Track shipments, POD/POE, and logistics KPIs
  • Review freight invoices and resolve cost discrepancies
  • Work closely with Production, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams

Logistics Coordinator Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience in international logistics and customs
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, HS codes, COO, and export documentation
  • Experience exporting to EU, Far East, and Middle East markets
  • Post-Brexit UK EU customs experience essential
  • Confident negotiator with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using ERP systems and freight forwarder portals
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills
