£33,902 to £36,226 depending on experience (pay award pending)

Full time (37 hours a week) all year round with 29 days holiday + Bank Holidays

We’re seeking a professionally qualified Plumber to join our Estates team as we build new in‑house services for our schools. Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will take ownership of delivering high‑quality plumbing and mechanical services across the Trust, ensuring all systems are maintained to the highest standards. Acting as the Trust’s go‑to expert for all plumbing‑related matters, you will oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, support compliance activities and contribute to the smooth running of specialist facilities such as hydrotherapy and splash pools.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and upgrades, maintaining key systems and water heaters.

About You:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Domestic Heating (or equivalent)
  • Hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing plumbing systems in a commercial environment
  • Solid understanding of building maintenance and ability to interpret drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of water regulations and legionella awareness
  • Full driving licence and willingness to work across a variety of environments, including at heights and in confined spaces
  • Positive, can‑do attitude and desire to continue developing your skills through ongoing training
