At Ascendancy Partnership Trust, our mission is to provide the best possible education and therapeutic support for children and young people with additional complex needs both in special and mainstream schools.
As a newly developing therapies hub, we aim to provide high-quality, student-centred therapeutic services that are seamlessly integrated into everyday school life and curriculum. As a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, you will be providing oversight of physiotherapy within school settings and delivering intervention where appropriate, with a unique opportunity to help develop and shape a new service at both universal and targeted levels.
The successful candidate will bring essential paediatric experience, with SEN experience desirable and a genuine passion for supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential. We are seeking a compassionate, approachable and proactive professional who values collaboration and inclusion, who can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, adaptability and problem-solving skills are key, alongside a commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred care that reflects our core values of respect, empathy and continuous improvement. You will work alongside senior leaders and teachers with expertise in learning difficulties, autism and SEMH to create an optimum learning environment in a specialist education Trust.
You will use your skills to lead and implement the development of the SLT service across the Trust. Reporting to the Head of the Therapy Hub, you will operationally plan and deliver the physiotherapy service, providing support to our teaching staff as well as lead on providing clinical supervision for assistants and therapists across the trust as our team expands.
Along with your degree level professional qualification and HCPC registration, you will use your leadership experience to work collaboratively to help deliver integrated therapeutic support in Trust schools as part of an outstanding joined-up service.
