Ascend Talent are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter / Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join a rapidly growing team covering the North of England. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-owned plant machinery specialist that is expanding its engineering team and investing heavily in its people. The Role
- Visiting customer sites across the North
- Diagnosing faults on plant machinery
- Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing
- Completing breakdown repairs
- Fault finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Providing excellent customer support and representing the business professionally
You'll be joining a skilled mobile engineering team where every day brings something different.

What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with industrial plant machinery or heavy equipment
- NVQ or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overnight stays when required
- Full UK driving licence
