About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Commercial Administrator/Cost Clerk to support our commercial and operational construction teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced commercial, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or service environment. The Commercial Administrator will handle financial documentation and transactions and facilitate effective communication across teams. The role will also support customer service functions to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the commercial team
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, contracts, and records
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets, trackers, and commercial reports
- Support cost tracking and budget monitoring
- Support compliance and audit requirements where required
- Invoice matching
- Issuing the live hire report
- Consolidating the weekly labour timesheet
- Completing carbon reports for the client
- Maintaining the company training matrix, ensuring all operatives tickets and qualifications are up to date
- Ensuring we have the latest insurance records on file for any suppliers/subcontractors
- Assisting the site teams with plant and material orders in Construct where required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an administrative or commercial support role
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, utilities, or similar sectors is desirable
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Having experience using Construct (Eque2) is advantageous but not essential
