Salary: £15.16 per hour Full time equivalent salary: £29,562 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week Actual part time salary: £23,649.60 per annum based on 30 hours per week Contract: Part time, permanent Hours: 30 hours per week across a minimum of four days Please read before applying To be considered, you must: Have at least six months’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or complex needs. Have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or in a similar supervisory role. Be able to work across both locations and outreach services. Be available to work 30 hours per week across a minimum of four days. Already have the right to work in the UK for the contracted hours without employer sponsorship. NO VISA SPONSORSHIP IS AVAILABLE. Transforming Support is recruiting a Team Leader to work across TS South London and Ascend Support’s supported living and outreach services. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to guide colleagues, support daily operations and maintain safe, effective and person centred support. This is a practical leadership role where you will remain involved in providing direct support. You will lead by example, set clear expectations and help colleagues support people with greater independence, dignity and choice. What you’ll be doing Providing daily leadership, guidance and support to the staff team. Promoting person centred support that encourages independence, dignity, choice and control. Planning rotas and helping maintain safe, consistent staffing levels. Supporting recruitment, induction, supervision, coaching and staff development. Maintaining accurate support plans, risk assessments and records, and completing audits and quality checks. Overseeing safeguarding, medication, health and safety and risk management practices. Supporting assessments, transitions and ongoing service development. About you Alongside the essential experience above, you will need: An understanding of person centred support, safeguarding and regulated care services. Knowledge of health and safety, risk management and CQC standards. Confidence supervising, coaching and developing colleagues. Clear communication skills and the ability to make calm, well considered decisions. Flexibility to work across a varied rota and multiple services. A relevant health and social care qualification would be advantageous. What you’ll get £15.16 per hour, with an actual annual salary of £23,649.60 for 30 hours per week.
