This is a great role for a Part Time Accountant to join an exciting Software company, and to be part of their growth journey. They are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented part-time Accountant (30h per week) on a 12-month contract, with potential for extension. The Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial management, supporting internal teams, and contributing to a well-functioning finance operation that aligns with commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger, including accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments and expense claims, and maintaining strong underlying records and reconciliations.
- Prepare and support month-end reporting requirements, including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with internal controls and best practice.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting by compiling inputs, preparing supporting analysis, and helping maintain key assumptions and working files.
- Support audit and year-end processes by responding to audit requests, providing clear supporting documentation, and helping ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
