Our client is seeking a dedicated CQC Registered Manager to lead a Stockport based service, driving outstanding standards of care and supporting a team that genuinely changes lives every day.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Holding full responsibility as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and Fundamental Standards of Care.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing care plans, risk assessments, and person-centred support to ensure every individual receives the highest quality of care.
  • Managing rotas, recruitment, and staff performance to maintain a stable, skilled, and motivated workforce.
  • Building strong relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities.
  • Driving quality assurance processes, audits, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Managing budgets effectively while maintaining exceptional standards of care.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for CQC inspections and ensuring inspection-readiness at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager with the CQC (or strong experience ready to step up, with willingness to register).
  • NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, KLOEs, and current health and social care legislation.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the confidence to manage multiple priorities.
  • A genuine passion for delivering person-centred, dignified care.
  • Full UK driving licence (where relevant to the role).
