UK AOC holder. Ascend Airways is operating a fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) in the ACMI market, opening its first operational base at London Gatwick in early 2024. The company is part of Avia Solutions Group, the world\’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) provider, operating a fleet of 221 aircraft on six continents. The group also provides MRO, pilot and crew training, ground handling, and associated services.

The Procurement Administrator provides administrative support to the Procurement and Supply Chain team, including supplier creation in Business Central and MRO PRO, KYC checks, processing supplier quotes, raising purchase orders, managing supplier agreements, scheduling review meetings, and reporting KPIs and discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Onboard all suppliers and customers onto Ascend Airways ERP systems, maintaining data accuracy.

Perform KYC checks on existing and new suppliers and customers.

Update the KYC database in line with Group policies.

Raise purchase orders as needed in support of Ground Operations, IT, Flight Operations, Cabin Crew, and Facilities.

Work with accounts to ensure invoices are processed in line with business requirements and net terms.

Report contractual KPIs and SLAs with key suppliers.

Ensure quality adherence to regulatory requirements and report any breaches.

Apply lean processes to identify and implement cost‐saving initiatives.

Qualifications

1+ year experience in purchasing, preferably in aviation.

Knowledge of supplier onboarding and KYC procedures.

Self‐motivated and able to work independently.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Experience with Business Central or similar ERP systems.
