Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Junior Project Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Working alongside an experienced Engineering Manager, you will gain exposure to the complete New Product Introduction (NPI) process, from concept and tooling development through to production launch and customer approval.
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will
Support the introduction of new products from design through to production.
Interpret engineering drawings and CAD data to assess manufacturing feasibility.
Liaise with toolmakers and suppliers throughout tooling design and manufacture.
Assist with tooling trials and process validation activities.
Analyse manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Produce process documentation, work instructions and manufacturing records.
Conduct dimensional inspections and support customer approval processes.
Troubleshoot tooling and production issues alongside manufacturing teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency and productivity.
Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
This role would suit a graduate engineer or someone with 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing, process, production, NPI or project engineering environment who is keen to learn, develop and build a long-term engineering career.
