About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Fabricator/Welder to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will work on the fabrication and welding of metal components using TIG and MIG processes, producing high-quality parts to precise specifications. This position is ideal for someone with strong craftsmanship, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for producing work to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out welding tasks using TIG, MIG, and other welding techniques as required
  • Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Fabricate, assemble, and finish components to create complete products
  • Produce and use your own jigs to support fabrication processes
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure welds and finished components meet required standards
  • Perform linishing and dressing to a high-quality finish
  • Maintain fabrication and welding equipment, tools, and the work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Follow all site and industry safety protocols
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider production team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder (TIG/MIG)
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal work and fabrication methods
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
  • Skilled in producing and working from custom jigs
  • Ability to linish/dress components to a high standard
  • Competent with a range of power tools and hand tools commonly used in fabrication
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurement and calculation
  • Mechanical aptitude for diagnosing minor equipment or fabrication issues
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work alone or within a team environment
