A Quality Manager opportunity has become available with a well-established precision engineering business manufacturing high-precision machined components for a range of demanding engineering sectors. Due to continued growth and investment in advanced CNC machining and inspection technology, the company is looking to appoint a Quality Manager to lead quality activities, customer compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. In return, the successful individual will receive a salary of £55,000 - £60,000+, flexible working hours, company bonus scheme, pension, and the opportunity to join a stable, growing manufacturing business with an excellent reputation for quality and technical excellence.
Quality Manager responsibilities include:
- Managing and continually improving the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and associated procedures.
- Leading internal, external, customer and supplier audits, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
- Managing NCRs, CAPAs, root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Overseeing inspection activities, FAIR documentation, calibration systems and customer quality documentation packs.
- Leading and developing the Quality team whilst promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
