A successful manufacturing business supplying complex products into highly regulated industries is currently seeking a Quality Engineer (PPAP) to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company investing in new projects, quality systems and continuous improvement activities.
The successful professional will work across customer quality, APQP and NPI activities while supporting new product launches from concept through to production.
Quality Engineer (PPAP) duties include:
- Lead APQP activities from project launch through to production approval.
- Prepare and submit PPAP documentation and customer approvals.
- Produce and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans and quality documentation.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain IATF 16949 compliance.
- Investigate quality concerns using 8D and other problem solving techniques.
- Act as the quality contact for customers, suppliers, and new projects.
- Support NPI activities, safe launches, and process improvements.
We'd love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Previous experience within a Quality Engineer, NPI, or PPAP focused role.
- Experience within automotive, manufacturing or metal processing environments.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
