A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Project Manager to oversee customer-driven projects in a fast-paced, engineering-led environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, coordinating teams, and delivering against time, cost, and quality targets. With a strong order book and a stable long-term outlook, the business offers an environment where project delivery is valued, improvements are encouraged, and decisions are made locally.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to production launch, working closely with sales, engineering, production, suppliers, and customers.
Project Manager responsibilities include:- Managing projects from customer enquiry and RFQ through to production launch
- Coordinating feasibility reviews, quotations, and contract requirements
- Controlling project plans, milestones, and key deliverables
- Managing suppliers, tooling activity, and external partners
- Owning project budgets, costs, and commercial performance
- Leading clear communication across internal teams and customers
- Experience in a Project Manager or Project Engineer role within manufacturing
- Understanding of RFQ processes, feasibility, and structured project delivery
- Exposure to APQP / PPAP and customer-facing projects
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisation and communication skills
