The Role
- This is a hands-on position where you'll be involved across the full machining process, not just stood loading parts.
- Programming, setting and operating 5-axis milling machines
- Working from detailed engineering drawings and CAD data
- Producing complex components to tight tolerances
- Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets spec
- Carrying out finishing work where required
- Identifying and resolving issues on the shop floor
- Keeping machines in good condition and running efficiently
- Supporting less experienced team members where needed
You'll be trusted to manage your own work and contribute to maintaining high standards across the shop.
What They're Looking For
- Solid experience in CNC machining and programming
- A strong background in 5-axis milling
- Experience with Heidenhain controls would be ideal
- Comfortable using CAM software
- Able to read and interpret complex drawings (including GD&T)
- Used to working in precision engineering environments

The Work
