A Service Engineer opportunity has become available with an established manufacturer supplying innovative thermal management systems across a range of growing industries.
As the business continues to expand its UK operations, this position offers full training, premium overtime, paid commute time, a company van and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
Whether you're an experienced engineer or looking to build upon your existing mechanical or electrical skills, full training and a buddy-up system are provided from day one.
Service Engineer responsibilities include -
Supporting servicing, maintenance and repair activities across customer sites.
Working alongside experienced Service Engineers to replace mechanical and electrical components.
Carrying out planned maintenance activities to minimise customer downtime.
Following technical drawings, instructions and engineering procedures.
Maintaining excellent health and safety standards whilst working on customer premises.
Service Engineer desirable skills and education -
Experience in a similar role - MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Technician, Service Engineer or within a similar hands-on engineering environment.
Time served, or Mechanical / Electrical educated (IMI, FGAS, BTEC, HNC or degree desirable).
Basic hands-on experience with mechanical assembly (study, home projects or work-based).
Experience working within automotive, commercial vehicle, HVAC, refrigeration, manufacturing or field service environments would be advantageous.
Ability to follow technical drawings, instructions and assembly procedures.
