They are now looking to add a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support production across multiple sites and help drive reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance to reduce downtime
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and TPM activities
- Fault finding and implementing long-term fixes
- Supporting machinery installations, upgrades, and refurbishments
- Working with the Maintenance Manager on risk assessments and asset planning
- Ensuring all work meets UK Health & Safety standards
- Updating maintenance activity using a CMMS system
- Checking contractor RAMS, permits to work, and on-site compliance
Qualifications / What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of TPM principles and CMMS systems
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read engineering drawings and manuals
- Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent)
- Proactive attitude with good communication skills
