As the organisation continues to expand its UK technical team, they are now seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer.
The Service Engineer will be responsible for supporting customers across the Oxford-Cambridge Arc, maintaining high standards of machine performance and delivering industry-leading service levels.
Service Engineer responsibilities:
- Breakdown repairs and maintenance of CNC Machines, including multi-axis Mills and Lathes
- Routine service and inspections, as well as fault-finding
- Carrying out mechanical and minor electrical repairs to ball screws, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and motors
- Machine levelling and alignments
- Installation and commissioning of machinery on site
- Ordering of parts from the office, replacing and retrofitting
- Providing end-user training and customer support both remotely and on-site
Service Engineer requirements:
- Confidence with either electrical or mechanical breakdowns of machinery
- Experience of working with either Siemens or FANUC controls
- Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking and equipment inspections
- Willingness to travel nationally and be prepared to stay overnight when required
Service Engineer package and benefits:
- £60,000 OTE
