As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and commissioning advanced industrial equipment at customer sites across the Midlands and North of England. You'll work autonomously across a regional patch, ensuring equipment performance, minimising downtime, and delivering exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of industrial machinery
  • Carry out routine servicing, calibration, and component replacement
  • Perform strip-downs and machine rebuilds where required
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams
  • Install and commission new equipment on customer sites
  • Provide technical support and guidance directly to customers
  • Manage your own schedule and travel arrangements effectively
  • Complete administration and reporting (1 day per week in the office)
  • Support larger projects alongside colleagues when required

The ideal Field Service Engineer will have proven experience in fault-finding on industrial machinery and working remotely. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills are essential, ideally with electro-mechanical capital equipment.

Salary is up to £48K with a company vehicle, flexible working hours, Christmas Bonus, Commission on spare parts sales, strong training and long-term career progression.
