Role Overview for the Maintenance Manager: You will have full responsibility for managing mechanical maintenance operations, overseeing a team of 23 staff plus contractors. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, team leadership, and project engineering experience, ensuring that the department operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Manager: Lead and manage the Mechanical Engineering departments and associated contractors. Oversee routine and reactive maintenance within an industrial manufacturing setting. Manage minor mechanical engineering projects, including planning, design, and execution. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations. Operate and optimise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with internal stakeholders and liaise with external bodies such as HSE and insurance inspectors. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and staff development.Experience & Qualifications for the Maintenance Manager: Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering (degree preferred). At least 10 years\' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong personnel management and organisational skills. Proficiency with CMMS and general computer systems.
