Assembly Technician - Up to £35,000 Location: Leicestershire Hours: Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience We are looking for an experienced Assembly Technician to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business in Leicestershire. The successful Assembly Technician will be involved in a combination of mechanical and electrical assembly and will be confident using hand and power tools and reading engineering drawings and wiring diagrams Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies. Cut, measure, prepare and bend copper tube. Install pumps, valves, heat exchangers, compressors and associated components. Work accurately from engineering drawings Use a range of hand and power tools. Carry out quality checks and ensure high standards of workmanship. Support wider production activities when required. About You You should have: Mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. A practical, hands-on approach.
