Quality Technician responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating quality documentation, registers, and control records within the QMS.
- Preparing quality performance reports, dashboards, and supporting data for audits and compliance activity.
- Supporting in-process quality checks, measurement methods, and calibration record maintenance.
- Logging and tracking internal NCRs and supporting root cause and corrective action follow-up.
- Coordinating quality training sessions and maintaining a central register of improvement activity.
- Assisting CI projects through data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
Quality Technician desirable skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar role - Quality Inspector, Quality Coordinator.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management system principles.
- Exposure to NCR logging, RCA, and structured problem-solving tools such as 8D or A3.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
