A leading plastics manufacturing business, providing a range of specialist engineering services, is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager to join their team. Monday - Thursday | 10-hour shifts Salary dependent on experience As the senior member of staff on site during the shift, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Moulding Division, overseeing people, production, problem-solving and process efficiency. The role will also involve hands-on Injection Moulding Technician duties, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the shift. As an Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager, your duties will include: Management of the mouldshop and packaging/assembly teams Setting up production runs to works orders across all moulding machines, ensuring the agreed production schedule is achieved with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and a right first time approach Tool changing and setting mould tools in machines Conducting tool trials, process optimisation and effective fault finding / troubleshooting Monitoring production quality and identifying and reporting any quality concerns at the earliest opportunity Supporting and developing team members to maintain high standards of performance, quality and efficiency To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager, the ideal candidate will: Have extensive knowledge and exper...
