A leading plastics manufacturing business, providing a range of specialist engineering services, is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a skilled precision engineering environment, manufacturing and assembling bespoke injection mould tooling solutions.
Monday - Friday | Days | 25 + 8 Days Holiday | Salary Dependent on Experience
Working as part of an experienced precision engineering team, you will use your technical knowledge, precision engineering skills and problem-solving ability to manufacture, assemble, modify and maintain a range of injection mould tooling.
As an Injection Moulding Toolmaker, your duties will include:
- Machining components to a high standard using a range of conventional toolroom machinery
- Manufacturing complete mould tools and modular tooling systems in a variety of steels and alloys
- Assembly, fitting and bench work of mould tooling components
- Carrying out xgikmsk modifications, refurbishment and improvements to existing mould tooling
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing mould tools to ensure optimum performance
- Manufacturing jigs, fixtures and tooling to support the wider mould shop
