A Fabricator / Welder / Fitter is required to join a leading engineering company based in the Aldridge area, on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and innovative business that is investing heavily in both equipment and employee development.
For this role you will need previous fabrication, welding and fitting experience, along with the ability to work from fully detailed engineering drawings. Duties include:
- Fabrication and welding of bespoke container conversions and similar
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Fitting and assembly work on completed projects
- Supporting projects from initial build through to completion
- Working as part of a skilled and experienced engineering team
General fitting skills would be a distinct advantage for this position. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two projects are the same. Training, shadowing and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop within the position.
This role is working straight days; Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Paying £17.50 - £18.50 per hour (depending on experience) on a temp to perm basis.
