A manufacturer of high-quality items for the home is recruiting a Product Manager to work within their Cheshire facility taking full ownership of the company’s products and delivering new products to market. Alongside a competitive salary, the business offers a generous pension scheme, life assurance, private medical plus many other benefits. You will work a 40-hour week 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Managing products through the full lifecycle, from concept to completion.
- Putting business cases forward for new products, improvements, and business ventures.
- Developing core messaging and positioning of product.
- Liaising between various departments including Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Production.
- Working with the marketing team to guide the positioning of the product through traditional sales techniques, marketing & point of sale material and digital platforms.
- Monitoring competitor activity and conducting market research.
- Recommending product pricing strategy.
- Being the voice of the customer within the business.
- Becoming the product expert and promoting this internally and to customers.
Key Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Product Design, Engineering or similar.
- Considerable experience within product management.
- Demonstrable experience of defining and launching products.
- Knowledge of working with consumer products, preferably interior, home appliance or lifestyle products.
- Confident and articulate presenter.
- Project management.
- Commercially savvy.
